Free Video & Audio Tools
Video and audio tools compress, convert, and trim your videos, create GIFs, and extract audio — powered by a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg that runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded: the open-source engine downloads once (~31 MB) and every frame is processed on your own device. No watermarks, no daily limits, no sign-up.

- Are my videos uploaded to a server?
- No. These tools run FFmpeg — the industry-standard open-source media engine — compiled to WebAssembly inside your browser. The engine downloads once; your video files are read, processed, and saved entirely on your own device.
- Is there a file size or length limit?
- There are no artificial limits, watermarks, or quotas. The practical ceiling is your device's memory — files up to roughly 500 MB work well on most computers, and processing speed depends on your hardware since everything runs locally.
- Can I download videos from YouTube or Instagram here?
- No — these tools work only on files you already have. They don't download, rip, or fetch content from any platform. That's a deliberate choice: your own recordings, screen captures, and camera files are yours to convert; other people's streams are not.
- Why is the first conversion slower?
- The first job downloads the FFmpeg engine (~31 MB) into your browser. After that it's cached for the session, and subsequent conversions start instantly. Processing itself runs at roughly real-time speed for typical clips on a modern laptop.
- Which formats are supported?
- Input: virtually anything FFmpeg reads — MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI, MKV, and most phone-camera formats. Output: MP4 (H.264), WebM, MOV, and AVI for video; GIF for animations; MP3, M4A, and WAV for extracted audio.
