Free Mobile Dev
Mobile development tools for the assets and files an app needs before release: every iOS and Android icon size from one image, deep links (custom schemes, Android intents, iOS universal links and Firebase Dynamic Links), a Web App Manifest for a PWA, App Store and Play Store screenshot mockups in device frames, and a reference of current phone and tablet screen sizes, resolutions and pixel densities.
They run in your browser, so your artwork, bundle identifiers and link targets are not uploaded. Store requirements for icon sizes, screenshots and manifest fields change, so check Apple's and Google's current guidelines before you submit.

- Is the artwork I use for icons or mockups uploaded?
- No. The image is processed in your browser with the Canvas API, and the icons and mockups are generated on your device. Nothing is sent to Stax.
- What is the difference between a custom scheme link and a universal link?
- A custom scheme link (myapp://) opens an app that has registered the scheme but fails if it is not installed. An iOS universal link or an Android app link is an ordinary https address that opens the app if it is installed and the web page if it is not, which is why they are preferred for sharing. The deep link generator produces the common formats side by side.
- What does a PWA manifest do?
- The Web App Manifest is a JSON file that tells the browser the name, icons, colours and display mode of a web app, so that it can be installed to a home screen and open like an app. The builder writes the file; you host it with your site and link it from your pages.
- Can I use the generated mockups commercially?
- The images are made from your own artwork and text, so you decide where to use them. Device frames in store screenshots must still meet each store's current rules for screenshots, so read Apple's and Google's guidelines before you submit.
- Are the screen size figures current?
- The reference covers the 2025 to 2026 generation of iPhone, Galaxy, Pixel and iPad models. For a critical design, confirm the exact figures on the manufacturer's specification page, since new models appear every year.
