Free Creator Tools
Creator tools for people who write, publish and make videos: count words, characters and reading time, check how hard a text is to read, see which words you repeat most, draft in Markdown with a live preview, and estimate what a channel might earn. The writing tools show results as you type, so you can edit towards a target length, a platform limit or a reading level.
Everything runs in your browser. Your text is not sent to a server and nothing is stored, which makes the tools safe for drafts you are not ready to share. Estimates such as YouTube earnings are rough ranges, not predictions.

- How are the readability scores worked out?
- The checker reports six standard formulas: Flesch Reading Ease, Flesch-Kincaid Grade, Gunning Fog, SMOG, ARI and Coleman-Liau. They estimate difficulty from sentence length and word length, so very short or very technical text can score oddly. Use them as a guide, and read the passage aloud as a check.
- Are the platform character limits up to date?
- The limits shown are the ones for the platforms listed on the Character Counter page at the time it was last updated. Platforms change them from time to time, so check the platform's own help page if the exact number matters.
- How is reading time calculated?
- The word count is divided by an average reading speed, and the tool shows a speaking time as well, because people talk more slowly than they read. Treat the figure as typical, since reading speed varies with the reader and the text.
- How accurate is the YouTube earnings estimate?
- It applies a range of revenue per thousand views for your niche to the views you enter. Actual earnings depend on advertiser demand, audience location, the season and the platform's revenue share, so treat the result as a rough range.
- Is my writing stored?
- No. The text stays in your browser tab while you work and is not sent to Stax or saved. Closing the tab clears it, so copy or download anything you want to keep.
