サイトマップジェネレーターの仕組み

サイトマップジェネレーターは、sitemaps.orgプロトコルに準拠した有効なXMLサイトマップを作成します。URLを追加し、lastmod日付、changefreq値、priorityスコアを設定すると、サーバーのルートディレクトリにアップロードしてGoogle Search Console、Bing Webmaster Tools、その他の検索エンジンに送信する準備が整ったsitemap.xmlがダウンロードできます。コーディング不要です。

XMLサイトマップは厳格なスキーマに従います：xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9"を持つurlsetルート要素と、必須のlocタグ（ページURL）とオプションのlastmod（ISO 8601日付）、changefreq（always/hourly/daily/weekly/monthly/yearly/never）、priority（0.0〜1.0）を含むurl要素です。ジェネレーターは出力前にすべての入力をこのスキーマに対して検証します。

priorityはサイト内のページの相対的な重要性を示します——他のサイトとのランキングには影響しません。ホームページを1.0、主要カテゴリーページを0.8、個別の記事や商品を0.5〜0.6に設定してください。changefreqはヒントであり保証ではありません——Googleは独自のスケジュールでクロールします。ニュースや頻繁に更新されるページにはdaily、ブログ投稿にはweekly、常緑コンテンツにはmonthly、利用規約やプライバシーページにはyearlyを使用してください。

Googleのサイトマッププロトコルは、各ファイルを50,000 URL、未圧縮で最大50 MBに制限しています。大規模なサイトは、サイトマップインデックスファイル（sitemapindex XML形式）によって参照される複数のサイトマップファイルにURLを分割します。ジェネレーターはこれを自動的に処理します——URL数が500を超えると（手動管理の実用的な閾値）、番号付きサイトマップファイルに分割し、それらすべてを参照するインデックスファイルを生成します。
