費用を公平に割り勘するのは、頭の中でやろうとするとたいていどこかでズレが生じる小さな計算です。グループでの夕食・旅行・共同宿泊・職場ランチなど、素早く計算することで気まずさをなくし、全員が公平に負担できます。

均等割りは便利ですが必ずしも公平とは限りません。不均等割りが合理的なよくある場面：1人だけお酒を飲んだ、一部の人だけ前菜を注文した、1人がゲストとして接待されているなど。このような場合、各自の基本料金の概算シェアを念頭に置き、そのサブ合計にチップ率を適用し、このツールで最終的な1人あたりの金額を確認してください。料理別に割り勘したい大人数の夕食では、多くのレストラン管理システムが席別の分割請求に対応しています——注文前にサーバーに確認しましょう。

8人で₹3,200のランチを割り勘する職場の同僚は、UPIのQRコードを回す前に1人あたりの金額をすぐに知りたいと思います。週末旅行中の5人グループは毎食ごとに誰がいくら払うかを追跡するために使います。すでに10%のサービス料が加算されたレストランで食事する家族は、込み価格で合計を入力しチップを0%に設定してダブルチップを防ぎます。週の買い物で必ずしも平等にシェアされない商品があっても、3人の同居人が食料品配達の費用を割り勘するために使います。

インドではUPIがほぼ全国民に普及したことで割り勘の手続きがとても簡単になりました。標準的な流れは：1人が全額を支払い、他の人がPhonePe・Google Pay・PaytmですぐにUPI振込で自分の分を送金します。計算ツールは各自が送金する正確な金額を示し、「後で払う」という曖昧さをなくします。家賃や定期購読のように繰り返し発生するグループ費用ではSplitwise のようなアプリが残高を追跡するため毎回清算する必要はありませんが、一度きりのレストランの請求書であれば、その場でのUPI振込が最もシンプルな方法です。

  • 注文前にチップについて合意する——特にサービス料が加算されないレストランでは、グループでチップを出すかどうか、いくら出すかを決めておきましょう。
  • 請求書を確認する——追加チップを入れる前にサービス料が自動で加算されていないか確認しましょう。観光地では二重チップが起きやすいです。
  • 1人あたりを切り上げる——端数の分を1人に払わせるより、1人あたりを少し切り上げるのが一般的なマナーです。

How does the bill splitter work?
Enter the total bill amount, choose a tip percentage, and set the number of people. The calculator divides the total (bill + tip) equally among all people and shows each person's share.
What tip percentage should I leave?
In India, tipping is appreciated but not mandatory. 10% is common for good service, 15–18% for excellent service. In the US, 18–20% is standard. Many restaurants in India already add a service charge of 5–10% to the bill.
Can I split unevenly?
This tool splits equally. For unequal splits (e.g., someone ordered more), you can add and remove people and manually note which items each person owes — then use the per-person total as a reference.
Does it account for restaurant service charge?
If the restaurant has already added a service charge, enter the total bill inclusive of that charge and set tip to 0%. The bill amount you enter should be the final amount before your optional additional tip.
Can I rename the people?
Yes — click on any name field and type to rename it. This is useful when sharing your screen to show who owes what.
